Our Mission

Newport Heights PTA is a volunteer-powered association of NHE families, staff, and community supporters, who work together on behalf of our children.

Our mission is to make every NHE student's potential a reality by promoting partnerships between home, school and community, and by engaging and empowering families and supporters to advocate for all children.

Collaboration

We partner with many individuals and organizations to broaden our reach and enhance our ability to advocate for children and families at Newport Heights Elementary.

We are dedicated to promoting children's health, well-being, and educational success through strong family and community engagement.

Diversity 

We envision Newport Heights PTA membership that reflects the rich diversity of our school community. We value the many perspectives, languages, abilities, and lived experiences our families bring.

We show hospitality to each other and welcome newcomers. We value input from as wide a spectrum of viewpoints and experiences as possible. We actively seek leaders from traditionally under-represented groups; we listen and learn from each other, because the hopes and dreams we have for our own children, we want for every child.

We know the necessity of self-care. We take time to appreciate one another, to have fun, and to live life in balance. By practicing these habits, we know that we are also instilling them in our children.
